SBC Youth

Our Ministries
 

• Cadet Club: This ministry focuses on the age group of 17-20 years. They meet every Saturday at 1600 hours at Peniel Hall. As they go through the most crucial stage in their life we focus on the holistic growth of each person. Along with gathering their spiritual needs we also place special emphasis on guiding their career prospect. We have four squadrons to initiate and guide this ministry.
   
• Cross Road: This ministry focuses on the age group of 21-25 years. We emphasize the proper grounding of faith, and develop passion to witness for Christ. We have four Bannerettes who take care of this ministry. We meet twice a month.
   
• Crusaders: This ministry focuses on the age group of 26 and above. We focus on an action-oriented lifestyle following the ideals of Christ Jesus. We fellowship to share life experiences, struggles, challenges in the workplace, family responsibilities, and life settlement. We have three Chaplains to oversee this ministry. We meet once a month.
   
• Worship Team: We have an exciting dedicated worship team who are highly qualified musicians and vocalists committed to singing good Christian Music. Their genre comprises contemporary and traditional Hymns.
   
• Sports Ministry: We focus on team building, identifying the talents of people, and using them accordingly in the ministry. It is taking the church out to where people are and bringing them into the church.

Our Activities

We have a year-round activities comprising:

• Moluashijen Rungtep: It is an event where artistic talents are sought and promoted. It is organized for three days.
• Sungbennangmen: It is an event focusing on drama that is held once in two years. 
• Symphonic Melange: It is a Musical event that gives a platform to musicians and upcoming talents. It is held once in two years.
• Annual Sports: To promote athletic talents and to take the gospel of Christ to the ground timely sports events are organized within the church and joint sports meet with other churches.
   

Apart from this, we have exchange programs and services with other churches, outings, heritage site tours, and other exciting events of learning and exposure. Spiritual formation, leadership training, and holistic ministerial activities are the essence of Youth Ministry.
