About Us

Started on 22nd August, 1965 Youth Ministry was first known as CE or Christian Endeavor. Youth ministry gathers to the holistic growth of young people. We have about 500 Plus youth members which also includes youth from non-Ao speaking community. This ministry is nurtured under an Associate Youth Pastor.

Our Ministries

1. Cadet Club: This ministry focuses on the age group of 17-20 years. They meet every Saturday at 1600 hours at Peniel Hall. As they go through the most crucial stage in their life we focus on holistic growth of each person. Along with gathering to their spiritual needs we also take special emphasis to guide their career prospect. We have four squadrons to initiate and guide this ministry. 
2. Cross Road: This ministry focuses on the age group of 21-25 years. We emphasis on proper grounding of faith, develop passion to witness for Christ. We have four Bannerettes who take cares of this ministry. We meet twice a month.
3.  Crusaders: This ministry focuses on the age group of 26 and above. We focus on action oriented life style following the ideals of Christ Jesus. We fellowship to share life experiences, struggles, challenges in work place, family responsibilities and life settlement. We have three Chaplains to oversee this ministry. We meet once a month. 
4. Worship team: We have exciting dedicated worship team who are highly qualified musicians and vocalist committed to singing good Christian Music. Their genre comprises of contemporary and traditional Hymns. 
5. Sports Ministry: We focuses on team building, identifying talents of people and use them accordingly in the ministry. It is taking the church out to where people are and to bring them in the church. 

Along with these ministries we have the following committees: (1). Program Coordinating Committee (2) Social Service Committee (3) Steward Committee (4) Media and Digital Committee (5) Prayer and Worship Committee

Our Activities

We have a year round activities comprising:

• MoluashijenRungtep – It is an event where artistic talents are sought and promoted. It is organized for three days. 
• Sungbennangmen– It is an event focusing on drama which is held once in two years. 
•  Symphonic Melange: It is a Musical event which give platform to musicians and upcoming talents. It is held once in two years.
•  Annual Sports: In order to promote athletic talents and to take the gospel of Christ to the ground timely sports events are organized within the church and joint sports meet with other churches.

Apart from this we have exchange programes and services with other churches, outings, heritage site tours and other exciting events of learning and exposure. Spiritual formation, leadership trainings, and holistic ministerial activities are the essence of Youth Ministry.
